All this reeks of unfairness on part of a Government that not only professes to be socialist (as enshrined in the preamble to our constitution) but also indifferent to the plight of a retiree who has to make do with a meagre amount as pension. It also illustrates how the beurucrats (uniformed or otherwise) actively undermine the principles of natural justice.
The once noble professions -doctors and lawyers-have steadily degraded themselves, courtesy capitation and the materialism till the lure of the lucre outweighs everything else. Sad, but true...Which is another reason(as if we needed any)that you, Maj Navdeep Singh are held in high esteem from Jorhat to Jamnagar and Thoise to Thanjavur.
sad very sad. but obviously there is no "application of mind""
it is a case right hand not knowing what left is doing..
i think we can only grin and bear it........
SIR,
"STRANGE ARE THE WAYS OF ADMINISTRATION!
UST, WHO CARES FOR THE OTHERS' POINT OF VIEW?
TODAY'S AUTHORISED OFFICIAL, WOULD NOT EVEN IMAGINE, HE WOULD BE RETIRED THE OTHER DAY(GOD FOREBID, DOES NOT BECOME DISABLED?).
THIS INHUMAN/INSENSITIVE/RECKLESS AND THOUGHTLESS POWER OF AUTHORITY IS SIMPLY/HIGHLY DISGUSTING."
